Your selected Showroom will be in touch to discuss your purchase and confirm a few details.

We'll ask you to complete a simple ID check via TrustID - you can do this remotely or in the Showroom.

Your showroom will ask you to sign an electronic order form and pay a holding deposit (if applicable) to finalise your order on that car.

You can book a date for your handover once you've signed your order form and relax whilst your Showroom prepares your car.

A few days before handover, you'll be asked to pay the remainder of your balance. If you're buying through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, then this will be your finance deposit.

Once your car is fully paid, your handover can take place and you can drive away in your new Mercedes-Benz.

Your Showroom will be in touch to organise for you to see the car, and discuss how you want to pay for it.

Your Showroom will talk you through the purchase, and organise a handover with you.

4. Receive your indicative valuation, which can be used to create your own personalised quote. Please note that the final price for your car will be agreed with your Showroom.

1. Search the Online Showroom for your perfect car either at home or at the Showroom. Add cars to your shortlist or save your search criteria.

2. Log in to your Mercedes Me account or create a Mercedes Me ID in a few simple steps.

3. When you’re ready, head to your preferred Showroom and let them know you’d like to start a shared session.

4. Share your OS code, which gives your Showroom 60 minutes to view your search history and shortlist in real time.

In this view, the Showroom will only be able to see your shortlist and your search history. No personal information will be made available.

It is possible for you to buy your car remotely, however if you have a used vehicle to sell to your Showroom or wish to take a test drive then you may need to visit your preferred Showroom. In some circumstances, your selected Showroom may ask you to come in to complete some steps of the sale.

Yes, there will be cars to view in our Showrooms.

Servicing remains the same under our new business model. Your Showroom will provide servicing and warranty services directly with you.

Yes, home delivery will be available but there may be an additional cost (participating Showrooms only). Please discuss this with your selected Showroom for more information.

If your search has brought back no results, we will show you other cars that are similar to what you are looking for. If there is still nothing that takes your fancy, then you can click the “Notify me” button, and complete your details to submit your interest.

Your selected Showroom will then be in touch to discuss your selection and refine this further so they can find you a car being built in the future.

Once stock is available your selected Showroom will be in contact to help you secure the car should you wish.

My Account is an area on the Online Showroom that you need to sign up to by creating a Mercedes Me account. My Account holds your search history, enquires and orders that you have submitted so that they can be easily found in a single place.

So that we can keep you up to date with the progress of your order. Having a Mercedes Me account will also give you access to connected car features once you have purchased your car.

Find the car you want on the Online Showroom, click ‘Buy now’ and complete the order form online. Your selected Showroom will be in touch to organise the next steps of your purchase.

By logging into My Account & clicking ‘Order’ on the left hand side, you can see your active order & follow its progress through the sales journey.

The easiest way to receive updates on your order is via email, however if you don’t have one, we can facilitate the order via your Showroom.

TrustID are our chosen provider for ID verification services.

When you are asked to complete ID verification, you will be sent a link to their secure site, where you can upload your ID document and proof of address.

When you submit an order, we will perform some basic “know your customer” checks to identify who we are doing business with.

We do this by asking for a form of photo identification and a proof of address document, which will be used to verify the details you provided on the order form.

If you are not with us in person, we will also ask you to take a selfie, which will be automatically checked against your ID photograph. If your selfie cannot be matched against your ID, it will be sent to a team of analysts at TrustID who will check it within an hour.

In some situations, we won’t be able to verify your identity. This may be because the image of your ID is not readable, your proof of address is not valid or your selfie is not taken correctly.

Where this is the case, your Showroom will contact you and will send you another link.

We keep your transactional documentation for the shortest amount of time possible under UK law. Your documents are kept securely and are subject to the purpose limitation guideline under the GDPR regulation, meaning no one will view your documents without a good reason.

Due to the better quality of smartphone cameras, the ID checks require the use of a smartphone or tablet.

If you don’t have a smartphone or tablet, you can take your ID document and proof of address in to the Showroom to complete the checks.

Once you have submitted an order from the Online Showroom, no one else will be able to buy that car. However, the car isn’t fully secured until you have paid a deposit and signed an order form.

Once your Showroom has received your order form, they will be in contact to guide you through these steps.

Contact the Showroom who is fulfilling your order and they may be able to update this for you, depending on where you are in the journey.

If you have completed certain stages, we will be unable to change your address on your order, and may need to re-submit it with your new address.

To cancel your order you must contact the Showroom you placed your order with, where they will discuss your options, and help you cancel your order where applicable.

When a payment is due, your Showroom will create a web link to enable you to pay Mercedes-Benz UK. By following this link, you will see a checkout page showing the amount you will be paying, and the car your payment will be going towards.

If you are paying less than £25,000, you will have the option of paying by debit card and credit card.

If you want to make a single payment of more than £25,000, you can use our bank transfer tool, powered by Trustly.

Trustly currently covers all consumer banks, but a limited number of business accounts. We are working with Trustly to increase bank accounts covered, but in the meantime, if you wish to transfer funds to Mercedes-Benz UK from a business accounts, please speak with your Showroom who can work with you to facilitate a BACS or CHAPS payment.

Your first point of contact will be the Showroom who facilitated the sale of your car.
