Mercedes-Benz Specialist Cars Holding Deposit
1. Waiting List for your new Mercedes-Benz. You shall be placed on a waiting list for a new Mercedes-Benz specialist car by paying a holding deposit in accordance with these terms (Waiting List). Please note that by being placed on our Waiting List, you also agree to be subject to, and comply with, our Legal Notice and Privacy Policy.
2. Mercedes-Benz Holding Deposit. You must pay in full and cleared funds a refundable holding deposit (Holding Deposit) to be placed on the Waiting List for a new Mercedes-Benz specialist car. Registering your interest and being placed on the Waiting List by payment of the Holding Deposit does not constitute an agreement by Mercedes-Benz UK Limited (MBUK) to sell or supply a new Mercedes-Benz specialist car. An agreement for the sale or supply of a new Mercedes-Benz specialist car is subject to MBUK confirming your allotted car, sending you an order form and giving written electronic acceptance in accordance with the Mercedes-Benz UK Terms of Sale. MBUK give no guarantee or commitment as to any build or delivery date for the new Mercedes-Benz specialist car.
3. Payment of Holding Deposit. We accept payment by credit card, debit card and bank transfer. Any card payment we take from you will be directed through a secure portal and your card details will not be stored by us. You confirm to us that you are authorised to use the payment method that you provide to make the payment. We, and/or your card issuer, may carry out security checking to confirm that this is the case. We will not hold your Holding Deposit separately or pay any interest on it.
4. Return of the Holding Deposit. We will return your Holding Deposit to you if you wish to cancel your place on our Waiting List for a new Mercedes-Benz specialist car, in accordance with section 5 below. The refund will be made to the same card or account that you used to pay the Holding Deposit and will be made within 28 days of the date that you cancel in accordance with section 5 below, that you do not wish to remain on the Waiting List for a new Mercedes-Benz specialist car. Please note that the Holding Deposit cannot be used as part of your deposit for any finance package.
5. Cancellation. If you change your mind about being placed on our Waiting List you can cancel at any time by notifying your nominated Mercedes-Benz showroom in writing. In such circumstances we shall refund your Holding Deposit to you in accordance with section 4 above.
6. Your place on the Waiting List is not transferable or assignable.
